We care about your candidate's privacy.

Reclu, a platform by Everseed Ventures ("we," "us"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect data when you use our AI-recruiting platform.

1. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • Clients: Recruiters using the dashboard.
  • Candidates: Individuals taking AI-simulated interviews.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information from Clients

  • Account credentials.
  • Candidate contact lists (Name, Email).
  • Job parameters and assessment criteria.

2.2 Information from Candidates

  • Biometric & Audio-Visual Data: Video and audio recordings during the AI interview.
  • Interaction Data: Text inputs, code submissions, or navigation behavior within the simulated environment.
  • Profile Data: Resumes, CVs, and LinkedIn profiles uploaded by you or the Client.

2.3 AI-Generated Data

  • Transcripts of conversations.
  • Sentiment analysis, keyword matching scores, and behavioral summaries generated by our algorithms.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process data strictly to provide the Service:

  1. For Candidates: To facilitate your interview, analyze your performance against Client parameters, and transmit the results to the Client.
  2. For Clients: To manage your dashboard and present Candidate insights.
  3. System Maintenance: To ensure the platform is functioning correctly (e.g., debugging a failed video call).

Strict Limitation: We do not use Candidate data for marketing, advertising, or selling to third-party brokers. Your interview data is isolated to the specific recruitment process you are participating in.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We only share your data in the following circumstances:

  • With the Client: If you are a Candidate, your results are shared only with the specific Client who invited you.
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party cloud providers (e.g., for hosting, AI processing) who are contractually bound to protect your data.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law or a valid court order in Alberta or your jurisdiction.

5. Your Rights and Data Control

5.1 Access and Correction

  • Candidates: If a Client uploaded data about you that is incorrect, you have the right to provide updated information during your assessment setup. You may also contact us to request corrections.
  • Clients: You may update or delete Candidate data you have uploaded via your dashboard.

5.2 Withdrawal of Consent

Candidates may withdraw consent to the AI assessment at any time by closing the browser window. However, incomplete assessments may affect your application status with the Client.

6. Data Security and Retention

We employ industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit and at rest.

  • Retention: We retain interview data only for the duration required by the Client’s hiring cycle or as defined in our agreement with the Client. Once the purpose is fulfilled, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

7. International Data Transfers

Reclu is based in Calgary, Alberta. Data may be processed on servers located in Canada or the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for cross-border transfers.
